I want to give a special thank you to all the members of MyScribeWeb
that took time out to check how I was doing over the Christmas and New Year period.
In case I missed emailing anyone back a very special thank you for your concern.
I got over my terrible flu [first one in over 9 years] just in time for the Christmas celebrations.
I think my family must be psychic because for the first time in over 40 years the family Christmas party
was organized to take place at my sons home instead of mine.
It could not have been planned any better as I would have really struggled this year to get the preparations
done feeling the way I did.
We all had a great merry time and feasted on the most sumptuous Christmas dinner ever - my son is a professional chef
and did all the cooking.
The following morning I was cleaning the glass on our terrarium [
home to our Green tree frog.]
I must have stayed hunched over for too long - when I straightened my back I literally went to my knees in pain.
I felt really stupid sitting on the floor not able to get up!
For the following week I was not able to sit in front of my computer for more than ten minutes at a time.
Well the old body is a wonderful mechanism - given a bit of rest it has healed itself and I am happy to say I am
as good as new again.
Actually I think the forced rest has done me a lot of good and I am looking at 2010 with renewed energy.
I hope everyone at MyScribeWeb had a safe and happy time over the festive season.
